EPW - Rolex, Swiss, G.S. MK. II British military watch, 49.5mm, nickel OF original Rolex case marked "A.12479 G.S. MK. II" to its rear in addition to British military pheon (broad arrow), black enamel SS dial with gilt signature, s#, and numerals, SW-SS, lever escapement, 15J, wheel satin nickel finish, mvt s#540, s#A.12479 to dial, case rear, and bottom of case band. A good example of this scarce Rolex product for the British military.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some scattered mild spots and fine to micro-fine scratches; visible portion of dial with scattered light hls, numerals with most luminous material lost; fine hands with oxide and finish loss, most luminous material lost; case shows light wear, some scattered scratches and small mars, ding to rear at "II" marking and two lesser dings to rear perimeter, good contract marking detail; tight bow, crown shows light wear; plastic crystal with some fine scratches.
